As a new practitioner, attracting new clients and getting bookings is one of the NUMERO UNO things you need to focus on. It will give you the initial momentum that you need to start seeing growth in your business. Whether it’s social media, networking, or SEO, when it comes to gaining new bookings effectively, a solid marketing strategy is essential.
Below is the first video in the mini-training series that I’m currently doing in the Thriving Healthpreneurs Community where I cover the four step process for you to actually gain new bookings and how you can consistently use these strategies.
Here’s a quick recap of the four step process for gaining new bookings effectively:
Step 1. Do your research
This is the MOST IMPORTANT step to nail down. Anytime you want to gain new clients and before you start applying your strategies, make sure to do preliminary research. It is going to make your marketing WAY more easy and effective.
Answer the following questions:
- Who do you want to help?
- What do they need help with? (Determine the problem they are currently dealing with)
- What is it that they want? (Outcomes, benefits, results, etc.)
Step 2. Get out there and get seen
People need to know about you if you are expecting them to book with you. Make sure that every single week you are consistently generating traffic which is basically having eyes on you.
Step 3. Build a relationship
Start connecting with your ideal clients because people want to know, like, and trust their practitioner before they meet them. (As you know, so many people have had poor past experiences with other practitioners)
Depending on your strategy, connecting and building that relationship will look different for each one. In the following weeks, we will get into the tactical how-to’s of what connecting looks like.
Step 4. Convert people by inviting them to book
After doing all the previous steps the right way, you need to start telling people what the next step is, otherwise they are NOT likely to take action. As crazy as it sounds, so often people are confused about what step to take next in their health journey, so as the professional, you need to guide them, including when it makes sense to book an appointment.
In the coming weeks, I will get into the specifics of how you can apply this four step framework to all your different traffic generating strategies so you can pick one and start getting some new bookings in a way that you feel really confident about.
